The assistant manager tolerated two ladies in the lobby who's kids were running around, throwing pillows, and making a scene. It looked like they were friend of hers... Small town I get it but not a good impression or image for your hotel. Might want to have the assistant manager and night clerk switch places as Alex was wonderful to deal with.

Rooms haven't been updated in years and breakfast is mediocre. The reason for the review is the rooms are $100 a night for a queen and our first room had blood on one bed with some red speckles of some unknown substance and mystery bodily fluids stains on the other.

Very clean. It is home away from home. Room is comfortable and all toiletries and hair dryer. Employees very courteous. Very happy here. Will definitely stay here again.

Rooms are spacious and relatively comfortable, though a little dated. Very nice soft water and never had any issues with running out of hot water during long showers. No cooking is allowed, though there is a small refrigerator and microwave. WiFi did not work well.

The night clerk, Alex, was awesome and got us a new room right away. We thought there might be some compensatory offer in the morning upon checkout but instead the assistant manager told us she did us a favor and only charged us for one room even though we used two and not to worry about the charge on the second room. WHAT?? That's ok though we paid our bill and left. We won't be back.

To each their own. If you stay here I hope you're luckier than we were. Good news is you'll likely wake up with all internal organs intact and your vehicle still parked in the lot which is more than I can say for the hotels in Ely.

Such a nice little place. The rooms were large (we had a king) and the bed was comfortable. The place was spotless. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because the young lady at the front desk with died red hair, was not welcoming or friendly. She was efficient, but not a smile. I'm from the south so maybe I expect everyone to be friendly, but I sure notice when people don't react to a warm hello and smile from me. Bless her heart, she must have been having a bad day. I highly recommend the place and would definitely stay here again. The restaurant/bar just up the street had pretty good food too! (The owl something---can't remember the name.)

Nice place to stop. Clean rooms, nice breakfast. Walk to the couple of restaurants in town. They let us park our motorcycles right outside the lobby out of the weather.
